Image Recovery Centers are hospital-based programs providing supportive and complementary care for cancer patients' body, mind and spirit.
The Image Recovery Centers provide a comprehensive service for oncology patients. Both Inpatients and Outpatients, regardless of their ability to pay, will be encouraged to have a consultation at the Image Recovery center. The consultation is used to assess the patient’s diagnosis, treatment, and lifestyle needs. It includes an individualized appearance plan that is created for the patient. This consultation is provided free of charge to the patient without obligation to purchase.
Referrals are then suggested for any of the following types of services offered:
1. Hair Replacement alternatives for complete and partial hair loss
2. Skin Care assessments and Therapy
3. Turbans, Hats, and Wig Accessories
4. Pre- and post-surgical mastectomy products such as breast forms, bras, and swim wear
5. Lymphedema products including custom compression sleeves, gloves, ect.
6. Therapeutic facials, full salon services
7. Nail and Hand Therapy
8. Appearance consultations
9. Massage Therapy
Image Recovery is a program founded with a sincere desire to help individuals of all ages whose appearance and self-esteem are affected while undergoing treatment from illness such as cancer. Our mission is to offer patients education, choices, and caring support during a difficulty time in their lives. Every day we touch someone's life and offer a special kind of support.
